As a Test Leader you will be responsible to plan, lead and execute test activities in alignment with applicable Test & Commissioning procedures - you’ll make sure everything adheres to requirements, and much more. Could you be the full-time Project Verification & Validation Manager to join in Stockholm or Hässleholm, Sweden?

Your future role:
You will be a main stakeholder in the delivery of major Signaling projects taking care of the full validation lifecycle. You will also define and implement the complete validation strategy, developing the unified view covering from early factory activities to final site acceptance with the customer. On a day-to-day basis, you will also share in core teams the overall validation status, support implementation of the strategy and planning agreed with V&V and Test & Commissioning (T&C) teams, ensuring proper conditions and schedule.

We’ll look to you for:
Strategy
Define the Project Verification and Validation (V&V) strategy in the V&V Plan
Optimize allocation of tests in-house and on-site, favoring labs to anticipate results and increase efficiency and coverage.
Support the definition of V&V and T&C activity schedule, negotiating the deadlines to ensure proper validation time slots for execution.
Define and manage the project Requirement Validation Table (RVT)
Coordinate the needs of V&V and T&C regarding lab and site tools, and follow-up implementation and delivery, including calibration.


Execution:
Coordinate execution and reporting of all the planned activities to validate the project.
Monitor and follow-up execution and reporting of activities delegated to experts in other departments.
Represent Alstom in front of customers and auditors, to provide overview of Test strategy, progress, issues, risks and opportunities.
Coordinates the global strategy application and adaptation in function of the agreed site possession schedule.
Support application of EHS on field, guided from the T&C team.


Management
Participate to the skill assessment and manage functionally the Project V&V and T&C team.
Select and manage subcontractors.
Manage V&C work package and be responsible of the QCD commitments, including EHS and RSA –Railway safety.


All about you
University degree in Engineering.
Work experience with system validation and commissioning is preferred.
Knowledge of railway signalling and railway signalling systems is preferred.
Understanding of processes for the safety critical system e.g.requirement handling, document handling and the generic application development process.

Din framtida roll:
Anta en ny utmaning och tillämpa dina kunskaper inom funktionell säkerhet och multifunktionella projekt inom ett banbrytande och växande område. Du kommer att ansvara för att driva och vidareutveckla säkerhetsarbetet (engelska: safety) under hela livscykeln för signalsystemet ERTMS inom ett eller flera av de nordiska flaggskeppsprojekten inom järnväg och hållbart resande. Utföra, hantera och säkerställa att aktiviteter och säkerhetsmetoder, som HAZID, FMEA och FTA, tillämpas korrekt samt bygga säkerhetsrapporter och säkerhetsbevisning (engelska: safety case).
Efterfråga eller ta fram all behövlig och stöttande dokumentation.
Dela expertis och insikter med kollegor och andra avdelningar.
Arbeta nära kunden och detaljerat beskriva nödvändiga åtgärder inom säkerhetsfrågor.
Motivera och argumentera för systemsäkerheten gentemot externa säkerhetsintressenter som kundsäkerhetsansvarig, oberoende säkerhetsbedömare och tredjepartsassessorer.

Your future role:
Take on a new challenge and apply your engineering expertise in a new cutting-edge field. You’ll report to Ali-Akbar Rouholamin (Engineering Domain/Metier Department Head), and work alongside passionate, motivated and dedicated teammates within a team on the rise!

As a Test Leader you will be responsible to plan, lead and execute test activities in alignment with applicable Test & Commissioning procedures - you’ll make sure everything adheres to requirements, and much more. Applying this to new cutting-edge signalling systems, coupled with travel to different sites in Sweden and abroad whilst collaborating with internal and external stakeholders – this is a role with a great deal of variation and excitement!
Furthermore, in addition to this primary scope the Test Leader will also be expected to plan and perform other site works depending on the needs of the project.

We’ll look to you for:
Preparation of test and commissioning related documentation, such as test instructions, protocols/records and make sure they are reviewed, accessible and archived according to project routines and directives.
Prepare time schedules in cooperation with the Work Package Owner, Installation Leader and Commissioning Manager.
Execute test and commissioning activities and sign drawings/records/reports during and after performed tests.
Ensure that requests for dispositions, closed track and other protective measures are carried out when needed.
Make sure that involved personnel have the correct qualifications and authorizations to perform their respective tasks.
Make sure that work is carried out with respect to personal safety.
Make sure that all commissioning activities are executed and documented.

Purpose of the job
In this role, you will work together with highly skilled teams to secure deliveries of key signaling platform solutions for the global market. Organize and lead change control boards (CCB) meetings.
Key point of contact for configuration and change management tools including managing access rights to databases and training team members
Supervise deliveries, assist in release, and baseline activities including setting relevant release states for configuration objects
Keep up to date with latest configuration and change management process, tools, policies, and procedures throughout the project lifecycle

Your qualifications:
Bachelor or Masters degree in computer science (or equivalent).
Minimum 3-5 years of experience preferably software developing or testing safety systems.
Experience in working with different system architectures.
Professional knowledge of C, C++ and agile software development is preferred.
Experience in requirement management tool, as DOORS or similar is beneficial.
